Energetic Pugliese’s “La Yumba” sends vibes across the room. It never fails. I receive a real life “nod” from a dancer. I forgot all about Galán who had committed this dance to me. Oh well … this is milonga life.

I will apologize to Galán for not honoring his electronic node later – when we find each other face to face. He was gracious and forgiving.

We arrange he will play a tanda of my second favorite orchestra soon. This time we do dance. Do we dance! It turns out this was the most artful tanda of the evening.

Watch out tangueros! This posting may put in motion the electronic invite.  It may be a much better fit for cultures uncomfortable with eye contact.

Lesson: Never make the assumption that you would not enjoy dancing with someone not particularly appealing to you. Blissful dancing has nothing to do with physical appeal.
